After shift, me and my girlfriends decided to bond in Starbucks to relax and unwind. Since I usually order Frappucino, I decided to try their Signatured Hot Chocolate.. Hmm.. It tickled my tastebuds cause it's not your typical sweet hot choco drink. You can taste it's bitterness and it really relaxes me. Forget about the diet because of its astounding 600 calories in it.. Haha. I don't really care about my figure especially if I love what I'm taking. Life's so short, you have to take all of the awesome things you have in the world. Embrace them as if today's gonna be your last day.. *eye blinking* To top it all, I must say that Starbucks' Signatured Hot Choco is a must-try drink.

Happy Heart's Day!
Happy Valentines! Better late than never.. Well, what's new? It's just an ordinary day for me. I dont know when was the last time he gave me flowers. 4 years ago? When I was young, I've been dreamin of a guy who will give me chocolates and flowers even if its just an ordinary day. But what happened with that dream? Well, maybe if your really love that person, you'll still accept him with all his flaws even he doesn't surprise you with anything. So aside from the drama, I've also prepared some facts about Valentine's Day.
* Every year around 1 billion Valentine cards are sent across. After Christmas it's a single largest seasonal card-sending occasion.
* The red rose was the favorite flower of Venus, the Roman goddess of love. The color red stands for strong romantic feelings making the red rose the flower of love.
* The oldest surviving love poem till date is written in a clay tablet from the times of the Sumerians, inventors of writing, around 3500 B.C
* The most beautiful and incredible gift of love is the monument Taj Mahal in India. Built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan as a memorial to his wife it stands as the emblem of the eternal love story. Work on the Taj Mahal began in 1634 and continued for almost 22 years and required the labor of 20,000 workers from all over India and Central Asia.
* Amongst the earliest Valentine's Day gifts were candies. The most common were chocolates in heart shaped boxes.
Hope you had the best Valentines day!
Cheers!

No Strings Attached
I got a chance to read this book. I'm also considering myself as a bookworm. I've read a lot of books already. Kaya siguro lumabo ng bonggang bongga ang vision ko.. *wink* I found the story very romantic and realistic. A soon to be 30 - year old admin assistant fell in love with a young, athletic and very charming guy. Whew.. Since I got a kiddo at an early age, I'm realizing myself on Carla's shoes. I think, If I were Carla, of course I will follow my heart. I don't care whatever people might think because I am dating a a guy whose younger than me. I don't give a damn. If that's what makes me happy, if he is the one I've wanted for the rest of my life, then go for it. What would you do with a multi-millionaire, stable, banker guy if he cannot make you happy? Right?
Carla is a whiz at her job: she’s efficient, reliable, and a total genius when it comes to putting something together at the last-minute. The snag is she’s single and turning the big three-oh in a few months. Her girl best friend (yes, she’s married just like the other girls in Carla’s barkada) keeps trying to set her up with stable banker-types, while her guy best friend (single – the other single one) encourages her to play the field – no strings attached. Then, through no set up or extraordinary circumstance, Carla meets Dante. Hot, smug, sexy Dante. Definitely not a banker-type and seemingly too good to be true. So there’s got to be a catch. There is. He’s five years younger. Is the universe telling Carla to finally let loose and enjoy a fling with a younger man? Or is there a lot more to this awkward situation that she bargained for?
Next book review.. My Imaginary Ex..
